Wunderburgpark

Today, I’m sharing a quick look back at Thursday, June 18, 2026. We were at “Wunderburgpark.” It’s a small park near where we live. The weather was very warm, so my wife and I sought some relief from the heat in the shade of the trees. After a winter that seemed to go on forever and a spring with unpredictable weather, we’re currently enjoying being out and about. After all that gray, gray, gray, the sun is good for the soul. Time is running out. Starting today, the days are getting shorter again. We might have three or four months left to soak up the sun—which we’ll miss in the winter. Here are the photos so I can remember this wonderful time.

A very interesting, large tree:

A large stinging nettle (Urtica dioica)

The sun makes me silly :)

Okay, now let's get a little more serious ;)

This portrait is one of the most beautiful ones I've taken of myself recently. I really like it.

After the small forest, there is a well-maintained park.

E.M.I.T.R - Silicon Worlds

Today I’d like to introduce you to a song by a band that, as far as I can remember, was my very first encounter with Creative Commons music. It’s the project E.M.I.T.R (Experimental Methods In Tonality Research), a side project of the band Zentriert ins Antlitz. For many years now, Zentriert ins Antlitz has consistently made their music available for download on their own website. The music is atmospheric, dark, electronic, and experimental. Here’s the song “Silicon Worlds” for you—it’s one of my favorite songs by E.M.I.T.R. You can stream this song directly in your podcast app. That’s exactly what makes this “Inner Circle” newsletter so magical: the music I share with you is available to listen to right in your podcast app (or on the website).

Welcome to the Inner Circle

Hello, friends of Endzeitradio.de, and a warm welcome to the “Inner Circle.” Today is Summer Solstice, and it's time for a big change. I’ve been thinking a lot over the past few days and have realized that I need a place of my own where there are no character limits. A place where no algorithm decides which people get to see my content. A place that’s a safe space for me—an oasis of calm in these hectic times.

I feel that the internet is slowly but surely decaying and has become nothing more than a marketing machine. I come from a time when there was still a wonderful sense of community online. And so I see this feed here as a kind of ark, where I can just sit and write for myself, yet knowing that I’m taking all of you with me to a completely separate part of the internet. A quieter part. Where we can just be, without having to be anything. Where we’re a community. A community where friendships can blossom.

I know this feed is read-only. There are no comments here. If you’d like to share any important thoughts about the feed, feel free to email me at tracks@endzeitradio.de

What to Expect Here

This is a playground for various things I work on behind the scenes. Here, I’ll share my thoughts and photos with you, and of course, I’ll tell you about some wonderful Creative Commons music. And the best part: You can listen to the music right here in the feed. I highly recommend the AntennaPod app for this feed. It’s free and open source.

I’ll label my posts as follows. That way, you’ll know right from the title what each post is about.

[ETC] Other things that don’t have a category yet

What about social media?

For now, I’ll be using social media much less. I know—it’s a way to connect with other artists around the world—so I’ll keep Instagram for the time being. But I’ll post the really important things here.

Best regards,

What to Expect Here

This is a playground for various things I work on behind the scenes. Here, I’ll share my thoughts and photos with you, and of course, I’ll tell you about some wonderful Creative Commons music. And the best part: You can listen to the music right here in the feed. I highly recommend the AntennaPod app for this feed. It’s free and open source.

I’ll label my posts as follows. That way, you’ll know right from the title what each post is about.

What about social media?

For now, I’ll be using social media much less. I know—it’s a way to connect with other artists around the world—so I’ll keep Instagram for the time being. But I’ll post the really important things here.

Best regards,

Endzeitradio.de

Endzeitradio is a 24/7 goth music web radio dedicated to promoting independent artists from around the world. I feature music released under Creative Commons licenses, give artists airtime in my stream, and may highlight selected contributors in my compilations. These releases focus on atmospheric, dark, melancholic, and experimental sounds from the independent music scene, and I encourage listeners to support the artists directly.
